Join the Martínez Lab!
If you are a Pomona College student interested in doing research in biology feel free to contact me. You can join the lab as a research assistant during the academic year or the summer. I do not expect that you will have previous research experience but I do expect a serious time commitment. Students working during the academic year normally spend one or two afternoons per week working on a project. Summer students work for 10 weeks from the last week of May to the first week of August. Summer students generally live on campus and are provided with a stipend, room and board. The funds available to support summer research in my lab come from external and internal grants. Please visit the Pomona College Student/Faculty Summer Research Opportunities page for information about the Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP).
